Just when you thought it was safe to come back into medlab...

I'm back! Ahahaha! No donut shall be safe!

Why yes, it was rather a long drive with hellish traffic, why do you ask? Although the Monty Python CD my brother Joe gave me probably hasn't helped with the perception of a nice, stable mood.

My family all say hi, and wish everyone a happy holiday. Jubilee, I have gifts here for you from all the Bartlets. Kurt, Alison, Haroun, there's some stuff amongst the metric ton in the back of my car - thank goodness I didn't bring Carmen is all I can say. There's also something for Moira and Hank that looks suspiciously baby-related, but that can wait until they get back.

And Lorna? Recipes. Mom's cookies, plus the pumpkin pie and the Ultra Secret Stuffing Mix, which has been handed down by at least three generations of her family. And a proposal of marriage from Dad after that cheesecake.

Coolness. Did I tell you? I totally made it through an entire routine on the uneven bars yesterday, without even one mistake.

Looks like all the practice is paying off. Totally getting all my upper body strength back and my spatial awareness is rocking.

Well done, firecracker. How's the arm holding up? Any pain or strain I should know about?

It's doing okay. I stop when it starts getting shakey, so no strain to report.

I've been running in the mornings after Tai Chi as well, so I'm getting the cardio fitness back as well.

Helps when there's not a lot of people around and there's no classes to worry about being late to.

You're making me feel tired just by reading this... *grins* Watch the trails when you're running, they're quite slippy where there isn't snow to deal with as well, and sprained ankles really suck.
