As usual, I am having Saturday office hours from six AM to about eleven AM. I will be around this afternoon, too, in the office and on this communication system. If any students in Biology have questions about the upcoming combined topic test, you are more than welcome to drop in, and I recommend that my FMs come by to discuss the work that you've done as preparation for the end-of-term practical.
As a bonus, this morning's visitors will get, as a reward for their diligence/distracting me from my journal reading, Krispy Kreme donuts from the place in town. I have one dozen of them in front of me, and they will go first come, only served. Glazed and original only; bring your own coffee; I will not be held responsible for what Ororo does to you.

Did you know I can post all sorts of mean, nasty things about you in the student journal, Lyn, and you won't be able see it? These journals are so much fun.
Remember that, the next time you ask me to sit through a touch-response test again. I will require many, many donuts for my obedience -- but I'll bring my own coffee.

Did you know that you have a spot about three inches above yo -- oh, wait. As tired and drunk and ice-cream stained as you were, I'm sure you noticed that.
And no, I will not be feeding you donuts the next time I ask you to si tthrough a touch-response test. You're hard enough to keep on an examining bench as it is; I'd hate to think what that hopped up metabolism of yours would make out of something as sugary as a glazed Krispy Kreme.
Lab results are coming back on Sunday afternoon. If you have a spare moment, we can look over them then, or we can save it until your next test-day.

Hello, Lyn.
Do staff get donuts, too, or just students?
I'll swing by sometime later this morning regardless and bring some (of the good) coffee.

Actually, there was a box in the faculty office for you guys, but I don't know how long they lasted. If you're still wanting them, I've got a few still in my office since, surprise surprise, students don't seem to be much for awakness at six in the morning.

Nor does it seem most of the faculty on a Saturday. It's nice to find another early-riser amongst us.
Welcome to the Academy, Dr. Barlet. I wish I was there to welcome you formally, but unfortunately I will be detained overseas for some time. Make yourself at home and I look forward to meeting you.
A word to the wise from one professional to another. Watch out for John. He seems a bit testy as of late. And I wouldn't want you to be at the wrong end of one of his tantrums.

Ah, yes, the donuts. Mea culpa.
